爱尔兰威廉党人战争中的博因河战役

爱尔兰威廉党人战争是指在1689年3月至1691年10月期间，爱尔兰国王詹姆士二世及其继任者威廉三世两派支持者在爱尔兰爆发的军事冲突。这场战争的起因是1689年的光荣革命，原本身兼英格兰国王、苏格兰国王暨爱尔兰国王的詹姆士二世遭到废黜，并由威廉三世和玛丽二世两人继任。在战争爆发期间，约翰·格雷厄姆也在苏格兰发动詹姆士派起义。

最终威廉三世一派在这场战争中取得胜利，詹姆士派结束在爱尔兰的活动。随后的詹姆士派起义仅限于苏格兰和英格兰地区，但是这场战争还是对爱尔兰岛产生长久的影响，并巩固英国新教主导该地长达1个世纪。人们普遍认为这场战争是欧洲大陆在1688年至1697年大同盟战争的相关冲突之一。
