巴里·「喬克」·桑佛瑞洛[1]（英語：Barry "Jock" Zonfrillo，1976年8月4日—2023年4月30日），蘇格蘭廚師、電視主持及餐館老闆，Orana基金會的創始人及《我要做廚神》澳洲版的裁判。

早年生活

桑佛瑞洛出生於蘇格蘭的格拉斯哥，並在艾爾郡長大[2]，父親來自意大利的明圖爾諾，是一名理髮師，母親則是來自艾爾郡的達爾梅靈頓，也從事美發工作[3][4]，除此之外，桑佛瑞洛還有一個姐姐[3]，而他的母校則是艾爾郡的貝爾蒙特學院（Belmont Academy）[2]。

職業生涯

成為主廚

桑佛瑞洛自12歲開始在餐館兼職洗碗工，他的姐姐也在同一家餐館當服務員[1]。進入餐館工作三周後，由於一名廚師不幸遭遇摩托車事故，桑佛瑞洛便開始進入廚房工作[1]。18歲時，桑佛瑞洛離開了學校，前往特恩貝里高爾夫球場的酒店當學徒[5]。根據桑佛瑞洛的說法，他在這段時期內沾染上了海洛英等毒品[1]。1993年，桑佛瑞洛被評為蘇格蘭年度青年廚師[1]。

學徒生涯結束後，桑佛瑞洛在切斯特的米芝蓮一星級餐館Arkle找到了一份工作[6]，據桑佛瑞洛回憶，為了滿足毒品開支，這段時期內的他走上了販賣毒品的道路[1]。後來桑佛瑞洛因在餐廳爆粗而遭到Arkle開除[3][7]，其後桑佛瑞洛前往倫敦，併到了馬可·皮埃爾·懷特的餐館裏工作[3]。在1994年前往澳大利亞之前，桑佛瑞洛還曾在Quaglino's餐館和Chapter One餐館一共工作過12個月。因為其旅居人士的身份，桑佛瑞洛在求職道路上屢屢受挫，直到後來被悉尼的41餐館錄用。桑佛瑞洛在進入41餐館之初的職位僅為流水線廚師，不過在兩個月後，桑佛瑞洛便被晉升為了副主廚[3][6]。

澳洲簽證到期後，桑佛瑞洛回到了倫敦，併到戈登·拉姆齊的茄子餐館工作了三個月。據桑佛瑞洛所述，他此後又相繼前往馬可·皮埃爾·懷特的橡樹房（Oak Room）、Les Saveurs de Jean-Christophe Novelli餐館和Pharmacy餐館工作了一段時間，但懷特曾表示桑佛瑞洛去過橡樹房的說法不實[5][8]。22歲時，桑佛瑞洛在康沃爾郡的特里桑頓酒店首次當上了主廚[6]。

澳大利亞事業

桑佛瑞洛於2000年移民到了澳大利亞[9]，並在到達悉尼後快速戒掉了（英語：Cold turkey）海洛英，此後再未沾染毒品[1]，據他本人回憶，他於1999年在希思羅機場吸食了他人生中的最後一次海洛英[10]。不久後，桑佛瑞洛成為了41餐館的主廚，並開始使用澳洲本土食材製作菜餚[3]。2002年，桑佛瑞洛因嫌棄學徒馬丁·克拉默工作太慢，放火燒掉了他的褲子，造成克拉默手部燒傷。克拉默隨後就此事提起訴訟，並在2007年得到了超過75,000美元的損失賠償判決[1]。2007年5月，由於克拉默向澳大利亞聯邦巡迴法院提交的賠償呈請書獲得通過，桑佛瑞洛被迫宣告破產[11][12]，不過克拉默表示桑佛瑞洛從未給過他一分錢[1]。

放火事件最終導致桑佛瑞洛遭到41餐館開除[1]，此後桑佛瑞洛曾短暫依靠售賣廚房用具和做諮詢謀生，然後又到Austral工作了一段時間，直到最終搬到了阿德萊德[5]。2011年，桑佛瑞洛被彭福酒莊旗下的一家餐館任命為主廚，不過桑佛瑞洛在此工作了18個月後選擇了離開[9]。

餐館

2013年11月，桑佛瑞洛在阿德萊德開設了Orana和Street ADL兩家餐館（Orana在一些原住民語言中表示「歡迎」）[13]，其中Street ADL後來在2017年9月被改組成Bistro Blackwood[14]。2017年8月，Orana被《美食旅行家》（Gourmet Traveller）雜誌評為澳大利亞2018年年度餐館[15]，同年桑佛瑞洛被《澳洲人報》評為2018年最熱門廚師[16]。2018年10月，Orana被《美食指南》 評為2019年年度餐館，同時被《廚師帽獎》（Chef Hat Awards）評為2019年及2020年中3個帽子級別（最高級別）的餐館[17]。

2016年及2017年，桑佛瑞洛開設了一個名為Nonna Mallozzi的美食車，經營意大利菜[18]。2018年12月，桑佛瑞洛創立了一家名為Mallozzi的酒吧[19]，這家酒吧於2019年7月因虧損超過140,000美元而被迫關閉[20]。2019年年末，Bistro Blackwood關閉，隨後Orana於2020年3月開張[1]。2020年10月5日，負責經營這些餐館的公司帶着相當於32萬美元的未償還債務[1]進入自願管理狀態[21][22][23]。根據管理人員在2020年10月向澳大利亞證券監察會提交的初步報告顯示，這些公司還可能存在破產時交易（英語：Trading while insolvent）、不公平優惠或董事會違章等行為[24]。此外，Orana倒閉後，桑佛瑞洛被迫賣掉了他在阿德萊德山的房產[25]。

Orana基金會

2016年，桑佛瑞洛創立了Orana基金會，旨在保護澳洲土著所留下的烹飪技術和食材。2017年10月，Orana基金會被《美食指南》授予了「永久食物獎」（Food for Good Award）[26]。該基金會負責的其中一個項目是與阿德萊德大學合作管理的一個包含1,443種原住民食用植物的數據庫，該數據庫於2020年9月上線，提供了這些植物的營養價值、味道和最佳烹飪方法的信息[1]，但這個數據庫也引發了基金會與阿德萊德大學和澳大利亞各大報紙之間的法律爭端[9]。

2020年8月，《澳洲人報》的一篇文章宣稱桑佛瑞洛為了拿到巴斯克烹飪世界獎而假裝資助一個原住民食材農場[27]，對此，桑佛瑞洛向聯邦法院提起了誹謗訴訟[28]。該案由《澳洲人報》旗下出版社「全國新聞」（Nationwide News）出面解決，報社方面最終在2020年12月17日刊登道歉聲明[29]。

電視節目

2014年，桑佛瑞洛主持了探索頻道（Discovery Channel）節目《大地廚男》（Nomad Chef），節目中他探訪了10個國家的社區，學習如何收集食材和如何烹飪[30][31]。2015年，桑佛瑞洛主持了烹飪真人騷《Restaurant Revolution》[8]，次年，他又和青島（阿德萊德的友好城市）廚師曲健明共同主持了《廚師交流》（Chef Exchange），這檔節目共有兩季，主要內容為兩名主持人互相探討對方的飲食文化和酒文化[32][33][34]。

2019年10月，《我要做廚神》澳洲版片方宣佈桑佛瑞洛和梅利莎·梁、安迪·艾倫將組成該節目的新裁判團[35]。在此之前，桑佛瑞洛曾經以客座廚師嘉賓的身份參加過三季該檔節目[8]。

2020年7月，桑佛瑞洛又加入了澳洲版《做個小廚神》的裁判團[36]。

其他事業

2019年到2019年間，桑佛瑞洛擔任了澳洲美食節「Tasting Australia」的節目導演[37]。

2024年7月，桑佛瑞洛開始以品牌名「Caim」售賣排愁串珠，珠子上有頭骨裝飾，最高價格為每個500美元。據桑佛瑞洛所述，他戴這種念珠的習慣來源於他的一個老朋友，其本人所佩戴的念珠為那名朋友和他的妻子的遺贈品[38][39]。

回憶錄

2021年7月28日，桑佛瑞洛通過西蒙與舒斯特出版了回憶錄《Last Shot》[40]。這部回憶錄問世後，《悉尼先驅晨報》曾刊文質疑其中桑佛瑞洛到過「上百個原住民社區」的說法和他吸食毒品的故事可能不實，書中的「父親式」人物馬可·皮埃爾·懷特也曾表示裏面關於自己的所有事情幾乎都是假的[1]。對此，西蒙與舒斯特回應稱這本書是一部「作者以個人對其所涉領域的了解寫成的過往記錄」，並表示必要時可能會對《悉尼先驅晨報》作出起訴[41]。

個人生活

桑佛瑞洛與第一個妻子凱利（Kelly）於1996年在悉尼相識，兩人於2002年結婚[42]。

2017年7月，桑佛瑞洛與第三任妻子勞倫·弗里德（Lauren Fried）結婚[43][44]。桑佛瑞洛和勞倫繫於2014年10月在Twitter上相識[44]，2018年2月，勞倫提前兩個月早產生下了一個兒子，這個孩子生下來時僅1.2公斤重，並在新生兒重症監護室待了五個周后才得以出院[45]，2020年10月，勞倫又生下了一個女兒[46]。另外，桑佛瑞洛在前兩段婚姻中還育有兩個女兒[47]。

在餐館倒閉後，桑佛瑞洛帶着家人在2020年3月左右搬到了墨爾本居住[48]。另外，桑佛瑞洛在去世之前還帶着家人定居過維多利亞州的卡爾頓區[1]，在他去世前幾周，他還帶着家人搬到了意大利的羅馬[49]。

2023年4月30日，墨爾本警方在進行健康檢查（英語：Wellness check）時發現桑佛瑞洛在扎加梅屋旅館（Zagame's House）酒店去世[50]，其具體死因沒有立即披露，但警方表示周圍環境並無可疑的他殺跡象[47][51][52]。不過《每日郵報》澳洲版後來披露稱桑佛瑞洛自2021年起就患上了腸癌，平時在拍攝《我要做廚神》的空餘時間裏均需要接受治療[53]。

桑佛瑞洛去世後，他先前參與拍攝的《我要做廚神》第十五季被從原計劃的5月1日推遲到了5月7日播出[54]，其間的空缺由《The Sunday Project》的一段追憶桑佛瑞洛生平的特殊節目填補[55][56]。
