English: It was the Tao male who was in charge of making pottery. Woman was not allowed to get close or touch the pot during the making process. The process included clay collecting, making, trimming, decorating and firing. Two pieces of wood were laid on the ground before firing, more wood was then added to form a grid, the pottery were placed in the centre of the grid and covered with dry hay and twigs, finally the fire is set from top to bottom to start the firing process.
